Wow, it's been quite a while to say the least. However, to any of you who are follow me through other social media, you'll know that I'm BACK IN SCHOOL (cue lame confetti).
On a serious note, I've given some thought of my future career choices. I really don't think I want to be a buyer (aka I don't want to be strapped to a desk staring blindly at numbers all day) and I definitely don't want to work in showroom sales, as my current internship proves to be mundane. I was disappointed because I trekked through my summer for an internship and now that I've found one, it doesn't seem to be what I expected. Oh well, life moves on. Getting what we want whenever we want is the same as wishing that the stars would align.
Now back to this blogging biz, I'm sure you noticed that I am no longer petite-threads. Simply put, that name described only one side of me - the cute and girly me. I wanted my blog to capture every bit of my weird personality and don't get me started on how cliche it is for a fashion blog to have the word "vogue" in it. Cause it is. However, my boyfriend has a whole dictionary of nicknames for me and I remember "womanly creature" being one of them. "Creature" stuck to me and yes, I fervently follow Eugenie from feralcreature but she wasn't the reason so don't give me smack.
The blog also got a makeover as you can tell, and I feel this little makeover or redo was exactly what I needed to start off the school year. I may not be posting a lot, but I'll try to closely share bits and pieces of that FIT life and traveling to new and old places in the city.
To start things off, I officially started my internship with CollegeFashionista and while shooting my friend for a future post, I guess I wanted to show off my latest obsession - stripes. It's simple enough to still remain a trending item and I love to wear this top with loose-fitting trousers and sneakers. The menswear trend is still popular in my books, not to mention undoubtedly easy and comfy.
