I received Soothingsista's (aka Stephanie) Eyelove palette from Memebox about er, a month ago I guess. Soothingsista is one of my favorite Youtubers - she's funny, so pretty, and overall an awesome person who hopefully will come to NYC (fingers crossed).
I love Memebox and Stephanie so this collaboration got me hella excited, especially since I couldn't get my hands on her Memebox. I still really wish they would restock it but that's the downside to Memebox - they don't restock their items. It's rare that they do actually, because they always come out with new products and boxes.
Lemme just say - I LOVE THIS PALETTE. In terms of neutrals, I usually go for my UD Naked 2 and my Coastal Scents Revealed palette but I wanted something that was travel friendly. I didn't really like the colors from the UD Naked travel palette. I was afraid the colors wouldn't look too good on my skin tone and like Stephanie, I like the heavy under eye look - as long as you put mascara and/or eyeliner - but the bags under my eyes weren't having it so I looked even more tired. But you don't have to follow her exact tutorial, I have seen many people do amazing looks with her palette. Just search #eyelovesf and you'll find a bunch of talented people creating looks with this palette.
My only complaint is that I wish Bae Area isn't so chunky. It's a gorgeous rose gold glitter shadow but it's literally glitter and I hate that mainly because there's so much fall out that if I put this in my inner tear duct to brighten my eyes, the shadow won't stay and it'll look like I have some weird shiny thing on my face or that a glitter bomb exploded =__= You can however, use it wet which I RECOMMEND because that the way, the micro glitters of the shadow will bond and stay together and you won't have as much fall out. Plus, it looks nicer :)
Yeah…I'm still trying to blog again. They make it look so easy but really, I'm struggling to write quality posts. Er, see you next time (I don't think I will ever grow out of my awkwardness)
